History

From one-man to international company

On 1 June 1985, Willich Elektrotechnik GmbH was founded by Uwe Willich as a one-man company in Breitenbach near Bebra. As the space soon became too small, the company moved to new premises in Breitenbach with the first 10 employees.

After further growth, Willich moved to Max-Planck-Str. 1. in Bebra in 1990. The workforce had increased to 65 people.

In 2008, the moved to the current location at Kerschensteinerstr. 15 in Bebra. There are currently around 120 employees occupying a total area of 7.000 m².
